If your diesel engine is 2013 model year or newer, it has an on-board diagnostics port. We plug in, pull the emissions data and submit it to CARB. Quick and clean — most trucks are done in minutes.
If your engine is 2012 or older, there's no OBD data to read, so it gets a SAE J1667 snap-acceleration smoke opacity test instead. Not sure which applies? Call and read us the engine year — we'll tell you.
